TVS Jupiter Grande Launched At Rs 55,936

The special edition scooter features LED headlamp, semi-digital console, diamond-cut alloys and a preload adjustable rear monoshock

TVS has launched a special edition version of its best-selling scooter, the Jupiter, for this festive season. Called the Grande edition, it comes in a new Starlight Blue colour, and in two variants. While the drum brake-equipped variant costs Rs 55,936, the disc brake-equipped version is priced at Rs 59,648 (both ex-showroom Delhi).

Apart from the colour scheme, it also gets a cross-stitched premium maroon seat, Grande badging on the apron, chrome strip on the front fender, beige panels, body-coloured grab rail (on the disc brake-equipped variant) and LED headlamp with position lamp. Additionally, it also comes with an analogue-digital console with Econometer and diamond-cut alloy wheels (only for the disc brake variant). The digital inset also displays the percentage ridden in Eco mode.

Mechanically, the Jupiter Grande is the same as the regular model apart from the preload-adjustable rear gas-charged shock absorber. Up front there are telescopic forks to handle undulations. Brakes include 130mm drum units on both ends or an optional front disc. It competes with the Honda Activa 5G DLX variant (Rs 55,430), Yamaha Alpha, (Rs 55,130 for the disc brake variant), and Hero Maestro Edge (Rs 51,300) (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The special edition, launched for the festive season, will join the wide portfolio of the flagship scooter brand – TVS Jupiter. Boasting of a host of new features and a unique Starlight Blue colour, the TVS Jupiter Grande is an epitome of magnificence.

TVS Jupiter has always delivered on its promise of ‘Zyada ka Fayda’, and with TVS Jupiter Grande, the brand takes the offerings up by a substantial notch. For the first time, TVS Jupiter Grande comes equipped with a sharp LED Tech Head Lamp with Position Lamp and also features a Digital Analog meter with Econometer®. Complete with category-first diamond cut alloy wheels, the scooter also boasts of independent adjustable shocks.

The Starlight Blue colour of the TVS Jupiter Grande is mated to a premium cross-stitched maroon seat and the scooter sports a Grande badge. The beige panels, body coloured pillion handles and stylish chrome highlights further accentuate its grand look.
