While the bike is getting a feature update, the engine and underpinnings are likely to remain the same as before

Quick News Highlights:

- The updated 200 Duke features a similar TFT instrument console & switchgear as the 390 Duke.
- As the bike was spotted at a dealership, it is likely to launch this month, during the festive season.
- We expect the bike to launch with a premium of about Rs 4k-5k over the existing price.

The upcoming 2025 KTM Duke 200 has started reaching dealerships where the bike has been spotted. As the updated 200 Duke was spotted at a dealership, there are higher chances for the bike launching this month, during the festive season.

The 2025 KTM Duke 200 seen here is equipped with a new 5-inch TFT instrument cluster from the KTM 390 Duke. While the speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, gear position indicator, trip meter, ABS modes and other basic features can be seen on the display, the upcoming 200 Duke is likely to come with smartphone connectivity features as well. However, the 200 Duke won’t come with rider aids features like launch control and cornering ABS as the Duke 390, which is why we expect the console’s layout to be tweaked a little.

What Is Likely To Remain Unchanged?

The 200 Duke gets the same switchgear as the Duke 390 as well, which makes it even more premium. We also expect the bike to get a refreshed look with updated colourways.

The mechanicals and hardware of the bike are expected to remain unchanged. The Duke 200 will mostly get the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces a peak power output of 25PS at 10,000rpm and 19.3Nm at 8,000rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox but misses out on a slip-and-assist clutch.

The KTM 200 Duke gets a 43mm WP Apex front fork and a 10-step preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking is managed by a 300mm front disc and 230mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS. It also gets Supermoto ABS mode, which allows you to turn off the rear ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels, fitted with 110-section front and 150-section rear tubeless tyres. The Duke 200 features a 13.4-litre fuel tank, a 155mm ground clearance, an 822mm seat height and has a kerb weight of 159kg.

KTM Duke 200 Expected Price & Date

The KTM Duke 200 is likely to launch around the festive season, and we expect the bike to receive a Rs 4,000 - Rs 5,000 premium over the existing price tag of Rs 1,98,950 (ex-showroom). It rivals the other 200-210cc bikes including the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Hero Karizma XMR.
