The upcoming 2025 KTM RC 390 has been spied testing yet again and these are the clearest images of the bike yet. It will feature a completely new design, a more powerful engine and a new TFT instrument console from the 3rd generation KTM 390 Duke.

Here’s what the spy shots reveal

The upcoming KTM RC 390 sports a sleeker design with sculpted and curvy body panels, giving it a proper sportbike stance. It has a single-piece fairing inspired by the bigger capacity KTM RC 8C. At the front, it features a new projector headlamp. At the rear, the bike has a new sleek-looking tail section and a redesigned tail light. Compared to the previous spy shots, the tail light now features integrated indicators.

The next-gen KTM RC 390 will be powered by the same 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the Gen-3 KTM Duke 390, which is 26cc larger than the 373cc engine on the current supersport bike. The new 399cc engine from the Duke makes 46PS and 39Nm, which is 2.5PS and 2Nm more than the current-gen KTM RC 390. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox, with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter for smoother gear shifts.

Featurewise, it is likely to get the same 5-inch TFT instrument console as the 390 Duke. The console offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth for call and SMS alerts, music controls, and turn-by-turn navigation. It may also get similar rider aids including bi-directional quickshifter, slipper clutch, ABS modes, launch control, traction control and riding modes.

In terms of hardware, the bike is likely to get the same 43mm WP APEX inverted fork and an offset WP APEX monoshock, both preload and rebound adjustable. For braking, it may get the same 320mm front disc with a radially mounted caliper and 240mm rear disc with a floating caliper.

Expected Price & Launch Date

The upcoming gen-3 KTM RC 390 is expected to be unveiled at EICMA 2025, and might be launched in India by early 2026. It may be priced somewhere around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), and will directly rival the TVS Apache RR 310.
