A leaked homologation document of a new Bajaj Chetak has surfaced online, revealing some interesting details of the upcoming electric scooter. The updated Chetak will offer an improved range, a much needed update to help it take the fight to its rivals.
The current IDC range of the Chetak stands at 90km in Eco mode, and as per the leaked homologation document, the updated electric scooter will offer a claimed IDC range of 108km. The details in the document show the battery pack to remain the same unit, hence, indicating that the increase in range can be credited to a new Battery Management System (BMS).
