The global two-wheeler industry is showing healthy signs of recovery thanks to lockdown relaxations. There have been a mixture of new launches and some not-so-pleasant developments this week. Here are our top five picks:
Honda CD110 Dream BS6 launched:
Honda re-entered the 110cc segment with the launch of the CD110 Dream DX. It is currently the brand’s most affordable BS6-compliant motorcycle. Even though it is built at a price, the bike gets quite a few nifty segment-first features. Read more about it, along with its price details here.
Suzuki Burgman & Access 125 price hiked:
Inflation has taken its toll on not one but two successful scooters from Suzuki, the Access 125 and the Burgman Street. That said, the price hike is marginal for both the 125cc scooters. To know more about the Access 125, head here. For those who are interested in the Burgman Street’s new price, check this out.
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat arrives at dealerships:
Remember the Bajaj Pulsar 125 with split seats that were reserved only for certain markets where the demand for 125cc bikes are high? Well, the BS6-compliant iteration has arrived at select dealerships. Consequently, expect the bike to be launched officially real soon.
Benelli TNT 600 launched in China:
The facelifted 2020 iteration of the Benelli TNT 600 has been launched in China. Interestingly, it is built by Benelli’s Chinese sister company QJ Motor and the bike is named the SRK 600 in China. Apart from aggressive design and more modern features, the bike comes at a competitive price tag in the Chinese market. Now, the only question is, when will it be launched in India?
TVS NTorq and Radeon prices hiked:
TVS has also joined the price hike bandwagon by increasing the prices of the NTorq 125 and the Radeon. Like Suzuki, the price hike of these two TVS products are also minimal. Check out the new price list for the Radeon BS6 and its variants here and the Ntorq 125 here.
