We will be the first to admit that the Indian automotive scene has been kind of vanilla this past week and there have not been many events to satisfy the enthusiast. Indian Motorcycles FTR 1200 Flat Tracker Launched:
While Indian Motorcycles had earlier announced the arrival of the more premium FTR 1200 S and 1200 S Race Replica, it has now launched the more accessible FTR 1200 as well. Other than the beautiful bodywork, the FTR 1200 gets premium features in the form of LED lighting and a 4.3-inch touchscreen instrument console. Know more details and prices of these bikes here.
Yezdi Website And Apparel Launched:
After reviving Jawa, Classic Legends is set to reintroduce the iconic Yezdi brand soon. The company has now launched the official website for Yezdi. It currently houses information on old Yezdis and an e-store with official Yezdi merchandise. Know more details here.
Hero Electric Optima ER And Nyx ER Launched:
Hero Electric has launched two new electric scooter variants called the Optima ER and Nyx ER. These scooters are essentially improved versions of the Optima and Nyx electric scooters that offer double the range. Hence the ER suffix. Both scooters are eligible for FAME II benefits as well. Yamaha XSR250/300 In The Works?
After launching the XSR155 in Thailand, Yamaha seems to be working on a larger and more powerful retro bike which could possibly be called the XSR250/300. Benling To Launch Aura e-Scooter:
Benling, a Chinese scooter manufacturer, set shop in India last December. Now, it is set to roll out a high-speed e-scooter called the Aura in India. Know more details about this scooter here.
