Yamaha Aerox 155: Official Accessories Revealed
Gas-charged suspension, knuckle guards and a lot more, straight from the factory
Yamaha made a bold move by venturing into a new genre, launching the Aerox 155 in India. Making things more interesting is its Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) price tag. So, if you were to buy the most powerful scooter on sale in the Indian market, you’d definitely want to consider these official accessories to spruce up your Aerox:
KYB Ultimate Series Aerox
Price: Rs 17,024
The stock Yamaha Aerox 155 gets spring-loaded hydraulic dual shock absorbers at the rear with no adjustability. But Yamaha’s got you covered with a pair of gas-charged units from KYB. Not only does gas-charged suspension adapt better to varying riding conditions, the preload adjustability allows you to tune it to your liking.

Sport Screen Smoke
Price: Rs 3,930
You wouldn’t really be going slow when you have 15PS on tap, right? With that thought, better wind protection is a welcome addition. Besides, this windscreen comes with a smokey black finish, which gels perfectly with the Aerox’s snazzy fascia.
Brush Guard
Price: Rs 7,216
Knuckle guards on Yamaha scooters aren’t a new thing; we’ve seen them on the Ray ZR Street Rally, and now the Japanese bikemaker is offering them as an accessory with the Aerox 155. Now, though they can be installed with both the stock or sport visors, the Rs 7,000 sticker price seems a bit too steep.
LED Indicators
Price: Rs 1,490
The Aerox’ stock halogen indicators don’t really compliment the stylish LED headlight and taillight. Fortunately, Yamaha offers LED units as an accessory. Not only do these have better life than halogen units, but also offer improved visibility. And since these are plug-and-play units, you needn’t worry about fidgeting with the wires either.
Seat Cover
Price: Rs 650
Want to extend the life of your stock seat without compromising on the aesthetic appeal? Yamaha’s seat cover does exactly that. This cover comes with contrast stitching similar to the one on the stock seat, so it doesn’t stick out as a cover. Along with protecting the new seat, you’ll also experience enhanced comfort levels thanks to the cushioning.
Yamaha also has a body cover for the Aerox 155 that retails for Rs 650. There’s also a pair of visor wings for the sporty scooter that are yet to go on sale.
