Yamaha Fascino 125, RayZR 125 Receive Their Monthly Price Hikes
True to form, Yamaha has once again increased prices of its 125cc scooters
As the annual monsoon batters the west coast, two-wheeler buyers continue to get battered by the barrage of price hikes that began a few months ago. This time around, it’s the 125cc Yamaha scooters that have received a price increment. This is a running theme that has been going on for quite some time now, with Yamaha hiking prices of most of its models every month almost like clockwork.

The Fascino 125 is the lesser affected of the pair, receiving a price hike of Rs 1,500. While this is smaller than the RayZR 125’s Rs 2,000 increment, both hikes are still quite large in absolute terms for scooters that cost a little under Rs 70,000. Even worse is the fact that there are no extra goodies being offered for this additional cash; both scooters remain unchanged.
They are powered by the same air-cooled 125cc 2-valve fuel-injected motor which produces 8.2PS and 9.7Nm in both scooters. But while the Fascino is a neo-retro scooter with a chic design, the Ray is more modern and edgy in appearance.
