Yamaha Fazzio vs Yamaha Fascino Hybrid: Photo Comparison
Yamaha Fazzio is offered with some modern features. And, here's how it fares against its Indian sibling
Yamaha has just launched the Fazzio Hybrid in Indonesia, and while it isn’t available in India, the bikemaker offers the Fascino 125 Hybrid here. Both scooters feature mild-hybrid technology. To know how the Fascino 125 Hybrid fares against its Indonesian sibling, here we bring you a detailed comparison via images.
Both the Fascino 125 Hybrid and the Fazzio Hybrid have tasteful retro design elements, but the former seems a lot curvier. On the other hand, the Fazzio is an old-school looker, thanks to its boxy body panels.
Both scooters feature LED headlights, however, there's a difference in the overall design. The Fazzio Hybrid gets a simple oval-shaped headlight, while the unit on the Fascino 125 Hybrid looks more sleek. It also gets a DRL, which the Fazzio Hybrid misses out on.
The Fazzio Hybrid might look retro, but it packs modern-day features such as keyless ignition, a hazard light, an idle stop/start system, a cubby hole with a USB charging port (left), a bottle holder (right), and a digital instrument cluster that can be paired with a smartphone via the Y-connect app. The Y-connect app displays parking locations, maintenance recommendations, fuel consumption monitoring, malfunction notifications, and phone and message notifications.
The Fascino 125 Hybrid, on the other hand, packs an idle stop/start system, a silent start, and a Bluetooth-enabled dash that can be connected to the smartphone via the Y-connect app.
Powering the Fazzio Hybrid is a 124.86cc single-cylinder engine that puts out 8.43PS and 10.6Nm. Meanwhile, the Fascino 125 Hybrid draws power from a 125cc fuel-injected motor that develops 8.2PS and 10.3Nm. Both get a mild-hybrid system for increased mileage.
Both scooters are suspended on a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. For braking, the Fazzio Hybrid gets a disc-drum setup, while the Fascino 125 Hybrid uses drum brakes at both ends (for the drum variant) and disc-drum (for the disc variant).
The Fazzio Hybrid runs on 12-inch wheels at both ends. Meanwhile, the Fascino 125 Hybrid employs a 12-/10-inch wheel setup.
The Fazzio Hybrid Connected Neo is priced at IDR 21,700,000 (approx. Rs 1.12 lakh), while the Matte variant costs IDR 22,000,000 (approx. Rs 1.14 lakh).
The Fascino 125 Hybrid starts at Rs 72,500 (Drum-Red) and goes up to Rs 81,330 (Disc - Matte Black) (ex-showroom Delhi).
