Here's what the new FZ-S offers you for a premium of Rs 3,000
Yamaha has just launched the 2022 FZ-S Deluxe variant, which demands a premium of Rs 3,000 over the standard model, in the Indian market. Let's find out what additional features you get for this premium.
New Colour Options:
On the design front, the FZ-S has remained the same. However, the Deluxe variant has received a new 3D 'FZ-S' logo, new golden graphics, subtle chrome treatment, golden alloy wheels, and three new paint schemes: Metallic Black, Metallic Deep Red and Solid Grey.

New Features:
Other notable changes to the FZ-S include a new LED taillight on both the Standard as well as the Deluxe variant. The Deluxe variant also gets new LED turn indicators, which will be installed by the dealer for free, and step-up dual-tone coloured seat with the Metallic Black & Metallic Deep Red colour options.
No Mechanical Update:
Most of the equipment that has been retained on the FZ-S Deluxe variant comprises a single-channel ABS with rear disc brake, LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, an LED headlight, a tyre hugger, engine guard and a 149cc single-cylinder engine that puts out 12.4PS and 13.3Nm.
So the new Yamaha FZ-S Deluxe variant will set you back by Rs 1,18,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) and it has only received cosmetic and feature updates while mechanically remaining the same. On the other hand, the Standard variant is priced at Rs 1,15,900 (ex-showroom Delhi).
