Yamaha Planning to launch 300cc bike in India by 2011

India's leading two wheeler manufacturer Yamaha Motor India is planning to launch a new bike in 300cc segment. The new 300cc bike is expected to hit the Indian roads in year 2011.
When enquired about the upcoming launches of the Yamaha, the officials updated that till now there are no plans for the launches of any 250cc motorbikes in near future by the company rather the company is looking forward for competing with the cruisers with the introduction of its all new and uniquely featured 300+cc bike.
Talking for the cruisers, as per the news a 500cc Thunderbird is expected to be released next year by the Royal Enfield, which may be one of the reason triggering the popularly known Yamaha to come up with its new model. Though the cruiser Enticer had been launched to the Indian markets by the company which was later been withdrawn.
The popularly known bike maker of India is unable to express any concrete decision in favour of the new 300+cc bike as it is undergoing the evaluation session as informed by a representative of the company. The information acquired in regards to the new bike is that the model is developed on totally new grounds being inspired by the Royal Enfield Thunderbird .
