Yamaha Showcased ‘Concept Moto Cage Six’- First Production Stunt Bike

There are multiple examples of regular production bikes that are used mostly for the stunts like KTM Duke 125, however one has to make some changes to these machines to make them fit and tuned for specific stunts. There is not a single specific bike meant exclusively for stunting but the Japanese bike manufacturer Yamaha has showcased the concept, Yamaha Moto Cage-Six, the first bike designed mainly for stunting. Yamaha showcased the bike at INTERMOT 2012 recently, it has been based on the XJ6. The Moto Cage-Six is very sleek and sporty bike same as XJ6. What makes the bike an eye-catcher is the proper use of Neon on all the body andspecial equipment like the front axle footrests, four crash pads, reinforced swing arm and streamlined seating. When it comes to s tyling, again the designing cues have been taken straight from XJ6 although it also incorporates design elements from the Tenere and Super Tenere.

The bike has been receiving a mixed response from both the enthusiast and the critics. The professional stuntmen mostly love to build their bike by own as per their specific need but it is a very good package for those who wishes to enter into the world of stunting. Yamaha has commented that the Moto Cage-Six Concept is a concept as of now. However, we sincerely hope it makes it to production, for now it is the ‘First Production Stunt Bike’ in the making.
