Yamaha earlier tried its luck in commuter bikes but certainly it dint work well for the company so it decided to come back to what it excels in, the sporty bikes. What helped this Japanese manufacturer to come back to track, is its its FZ series. Now it has come up with its exclusive SZ series. This series is certainly going to improve the position of this company. Talking about the SZ-X bike, it promises a real high performance.
The looks of the bike is really attractive with wonderful cuts on it. The bike is though not too flashy as the other models under Yamaha are, but still has its own definition of style. The bike has an electric start ignition which is a variation from the kick only option in SZ series. It has wonderful tank extensions and plastic visor to keep you facilitated in term of fuel availability. The silencer is worth noticing as it is beautifully extended from the normal measure, moreover the heat shield is also carved in attractive shape.
The bike has an air-cooled 153cc engine with four stroke and single cylinder. The bike has a city-centric gearing with amazing low-and mid-range grunt. This combination can make the ride real fun with high speed. The bike can easily catch up a speed of 80 kmph with no time at all and can accelerate to 100 kmph as well with similar ease. This bike will give you same comfort on high speeds just as you get on 20 kmph, this is all because of well padded saddle.
Talking about the breaks, it is loaded with a front break of 150mm and 130mm rear drum brakes. The breaks really would do a good work in busy streets. The bike is too comfortable for long rides and comes with real attractive pricing, but still the FZ series maintains its league.
