Zomato Will Now Deliver (On) Taiwanese
The brand has joined hands with Indian food delivery app Zomato to use electric two-wheelers as last-mile delivery vehicles
Restaurant directory and food delivery app Zomato has announced a partnership with Taiwanese giant Gogoro. This is to provide Zomato with the latter’s e-scooters for use as delivery vehicles.
This comes days after specs of locally-homologated Gogoro 2 and Gogoro 2 Plus surfaced online. Zomato's relationship with Gogoro will be a vital first step in achieving its goal of having an all-electric fleet by 2030. The very reason Gogoro came to India was to enter the B2B market when it opened its Indian innings with Zypp Electric last year.

Last-mile delivery fleets require a sustainable solution that not only offers the best alternative to internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles but also offers significantly lesser running costs. With its sophisticated two-wheeler battery swapping system, Gogoro should be able to enable delivery operators to manage their fleets and deliveries more efficiently and sustainably.
