NIJ Automotive Accelero R14

The Accelero R14 is a low-speed electric scooter with a sporty design that seems to have been taken inspiration from the TVS NTorq 125.

The electric scooter has twelve variants, including four variants with lead-acid batteries, two with LFP batteries, and six with NMC batteries. The lead-acid battery variant is available in 28Ah or 32Ah, each with a 48V or 60V battery setup. The lithium-ion battery variant is available either in a 60V 24Ah or 30Ah configurations. The NMC battery variant comes in 24Ah, 30Ah, 34Ah, 55Ah, all with a 60V setup. Additionally, there's also a 30Ah and a 40Ah version both with a 72V configuration. The lead-acid version starts from around Rs 49,731, whereas the lithium-ion version starts from Rs 73,326 (ex-showroom). The electric scooter is available in five colours: Jet Black, Pearl White, Imperial Red, Grey Touch, and Thunder Blue.

This electric scooter has a LED instrument console with a speedometer, battery level indicator, and an odometer. NIJ Automotive Accelero R14 also has cruise control and riding modes, a passenger backrest, park assist and reverse assist as well.

NIJ Automotive Accelero R14 Motor and Battery

A BLDC (Brushless DC) hub motor powers the NIJ Automotive Accelero R14. This electric scooter has three battery pack options: LFP, NMC, and Lead-Acid. The lead-acid battery has a claimed range of 45Km for the 48V 28Ah battery pack, 55Km for the 60V 28Ah battery pack, 51Km for the 48V 32Ah battery pack, and 63Km for the 60V 32Ah version. 

The LFP battery's claimed range is 60Km for the 60V 24Ah battery pack and 75Km for the 60V 30Ah battery pack.

The NMC battery has a claimed range of 66Km for the 60V 24Ah battery pack, 79Km for the 60V 30Ah battery pack, 92Km for the 60V 34Ah battery pack, 145Km for the 60V 55Ah battery pack, 93Km for the 72V 30Ah battery pack, and 124Km for the 72V 40Ah battery pack. 

The lithium-ion battery charges fully in 3-4 hours, whereas the lead-acid battery takes 6-8 hours for the same.

NIJ Automotive Accelero R14 Suspension and Brakes

The NIJ Automotive Accelero R14 has a telescopic fork and dual coil spring hydraulic shock absorbers. It has a 180mm disc brake at the front and a 110mm drum brake at the rear. Some variants of this electric scooter have 110mm drum brakes both at the front and the rear. This electric scooter has 10-inch alloy wheels at the front and the rear, wrapped with 3-inch tubeless tyres at both ends. The NIJ Automotive Accelero R14 has a ground clearance of 185mm and a payload capacity of 150kg.
