The 2021 Street Twin costs Rs 7.95 lakh, while the Goldline edition is priced at Rs 8.25 lakh.
Triumph Street Twin Features
Triumph has equipped the Street Twin reasonably well. It comes with two riding modes (Road and Rain), traction control, and dual-channel ABS. The semi-digital instrumentation also contains two trip meters, fuel-efficiency information, and a gear-position indicator.
Triumph Street Twin Engine
The Street Twin continues to be powered by a BS6-compliant 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor. Output figures are now 65PS at 7500rpm and 80Nm at 3800rpm, which is 100rpm higher than before. The engine sends its drive to the 5-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch, while final drive is in the form of a chain.
Triumph Street Twin Suspension & Brakes Triumph has made no change to the chassis on the 2021 Street Twin. Everything continues to be held together by a double-downtube frame suspended on a conventional telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. Up front, there is a 310mm disc bitted by a Brembo 4-piston caliper, while at the rear, you get a 220mm disc bitted by a Nissin caliper.
Triumph Street Twin Rivals
The Street Twin’s closest rival is the similarly old-school Kawasaki W800, priced at Rs 7.09 lakh. It also competes with the Ducati Scrambler Icon, which starts at Rs 7.99 lakh.

Triumph Speed Twin 900[2017-2024] Expert Review
Overview
Triumph has launched the 2019 Street Twin at Rs 7.45 lakh which is Rs 25,000 less than its predecessor. The updated motorcycle was first showcased at the Intermot 2018 in Cologne, Germany. It features comprehensive mechanical updates and minor design tweaks like a redesigned Triumph logo on the fuel tank and side panels, brushed aluminium headlamp brackets and new cast aluminium alloy wheels.
The 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor has been made lighter with the use of magnesium covers, lighter clutch and crankshaft. It also gets a balancer shaft for improved refinement. Power is up from 55PS to 65PS. Torque output remains the same at 80Nm, but comes later at 3800rpm instead of the previous 3200rpm. The rev limit by 500rpm, to 7500rpm thanks to lighter engine internals. Electronic updates include two new rider modes: Road and Rain.
Suspension updates include new 41mm KYB front forks that get internal cartridge damping units. The rear still gets a conventional KYB monoshock. Braking should improve thanks to new Brembo four-piston front caliper instead of the previous Nissin two-piston caliper. While the rear Nissin calliper remains unchanged, surprisingly the Street Twin now gets a smaller 220mm rear disc instead of the previous 255mm rear disc.
The 2019 Triumph Street Twin currently faces no rivals in its segment.
