TVS Radeon Summary
The TVS Radeon has been launched with a new All Black colour. Plus, the base variant of the bike is now Rs 2,525 cheaper than before too.
How much does the TVS Radeon cost?
The TVS Radeon starts from Rs 59,880 for the Base Edition. The Digi Drum variant is priced at Rs 77,394 and the Digi Disc variant costs Rs 81,394 (all prices ex-showroom).
How many variants does the TVS Radeon have?
The TVS Radeon is offered in three variants: Base Edition, Digi Drum and Digi Disc. The Base Edition is equipped with a dual-pod analogue instrument console. The Digi Drum variant comes with a coloured LCD instrument console that shows real-time mileage, a clock, service indicator and low fuel indicator readouts. The top variant, the Digi Disc variant is equipped with a front disc brake along with the features in the Digi Drum variant.
Which is the best variant of the TVS Radeon?
The TVS Radeon in the Digi Disc variant is the best one to buy. This one gets a 240 mm front disc brake, unlike the other two variants that come with drum brakes, along with a negatively-lit LCD instrument console. It comes in three attractive colour options: DT Blue Black, DT Red Black and Black.
How many colours does the TVS Radeon get?
TVS Radeon’s Base Edition is available in five colour options: Starlight Blue, Metal Black, Royal Purple, Titanium Grey and the latest All-Black colour. The Digi Cluster Edition comes in DT Blue Black, DT Red Black and Black colour options.
What is the mileage of the TVS Radeon?
In our mileage tests, the TVS Radeon returned a mileage of 73.68kmpl in the city and 68.8kmpl on the highway. These mileage numbers are incredible, the bike’s 10-litre fuel capacity will give you a range of over 600km before having to refuel.
Is the TVS Radeon a comfortable bike for the city?
The TVS Radeon is powered by a 109.7 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.08PS and 8.7Nm. The engine is torquey and offers good performance at low rpm. The bike feels easy to ride around in the city and can maintain speeds of 35-40kmph in 4th gear all day. The bike feels lively while riding at mid-range rpm. Overall, the engine feels refined and offers good performance. The bike’s suspension is set well and gives a plush riding experience. Looking at the above-mentioned points the bike is very good for city use.
Is the TVS Radeon a comfortable bike for long rides?
The TVS Radeon is primarily designed for city use. However, the engine has very good low and mid-range performance, enough to overtake vehicles. After crossing 75-80kmph the bike starts feeling stressed. It is equipped with a soft seat and plush suspension setup for comfort. When riding long distances the soft seat can get uncomfortable. The TVS Radeon can handle long rides but it won’t be too comfortable doing that, considering its limitations.
What features does the TVS Radeon have?
The TVS Radeon is equipped with a halogen headlight with an LED DRL below it. The indicators and tail light also have halogen bulbs. The base variant gets a basic dual-pod analogue instrument console, while the mid-spec and high-end variants come with a negative LCD instrument console. It also comes with a speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge, the top-end variant offers additional features like readouts for real-time mileage, a clock, and a low-fuel indicator. It also comes with a side-stand indicator and a USB charging port situated on the right side of the headlight cowl.

TVS has done a pretty good job with the TVS Radeon. It is one of the best bikes in the 110cc commuter segment. It offers a peppy and comfortable ride at an affordable price and is suited for everyday commutes. The higher variants are feature-packed with very good built quality and attractive colours.

Radeon Expert Review
Overview
TVS Radeon is a 110cc commuter bike with a classic utilitarian design, rugged mechanical underpinnings, and a fuel-efficient engine. A direct rival to the Hero Splendor Plus, the Radeon is a basic, entry-level commuter for those who are looking for an affordable and reliable motorcycle for their daily commute.
Design
The design of TVS Radeon is basic yet practical. It features a halogen headlamp with chrome surrounds and bulb-type indicators on its sides. The fuel tank of the Radeon comes with grip pads on the sides for extra comfort. The seat stretches in one piece from the rider to the passenger section, making it comfortable for pillion riders. At the back, there's a luggage rack integrated with a steel grab handle for the passenger. Both the tail lamp and rear indicators are bulb-type lights.
Engine, Mileage & Performance
The TVS Radeon has an air-cooled 109.7cc single-cylinder engine that it shares with the Star City Plus, and it has a four-speed gearbox. This engine generates 8.08PS @ 7350 rpm of maximum power and 8.7Nm @ 4500 rpm of maximum torque.

40-80kmph in 4th gear |

The TVS Radeon goes from 30kmph to 70kmph in 8.79 seconds in 3rd gear and 40-80 kmph in 12.45 seconds in 4th gear. The engine provides plenty of torque in the mid-range, giving the Radeon a spirited feel when navigating slow-moving traffic.
Additionally, it delivers sufficient performance for quick acceleration when overtaking other vehicles in city conditions. The Radeon operates smoothly with minimal vibrations at low speeds. However, it may struggle when going beyond 75-80 kmph.
The acceleration from 0 to 60 kmph has slightly improved due to the new 'EcoThrust Fuel Injection' system, which enhances overall engine efficiency.
The TVS Radeon impresses with its high mileage figures. It gives 66.29kmpl in city conditions and 63.97kmpl on highways (tested figures). The Radeon has a 10-litre fuel tank capacity and an expected range of well over 600 km

Handling & Ride Quality
The lightweight TVS Radeon is easy to handle even in packed traffic. Its suspension setup, a combination of the telescopic fork at the front and 5-step preload adjustable dual shocks at the rear, both of which ensure a comfortable ride at low speeds.
The TVS Radeon comes with a 130mm drum brake at the front and a 110mm drum brake on the rear wheel as standard, but the higher variant has a 240mm disc brake at the front. However, there's room for improvement in terms of braking. Both drum and disc brakes offer similar stopping distances despite what you'd expect from the disc brakes.
Comfort
The TVS Radeon has an upright stance, making it practical for people of different heights. The soft seat provides adequate comfort for city commutes but may become slightly uncomfortable over longer trips.
Features
The TVS Radeon has relatively basic features. Some special features include an LED daytime running light and a USB port for charging devices. The higher variant has a more modern full-LCD instrument cluster with more data on display, including a gear position indicator. The bike also has Synchronised Braking Technology, which basically applies the front brake automatically when the rider applies the rear brake. This ensures safer braking on loose or slippery surfaces.
Should you buy
If you're looking for an efficient commuter bike with a touch of retro elegance and dependable build quality, the TVS Radeon could be a good choice. It may not be too feature-rich, but it offers practical usability and impressive fuel efficiency.
