Hero Achiever Summary
17th December 2018: The Achiever is positioned as Hero’s entrant in the competitive 150cc motorcycle segment in India. Since its inception, the bike has received a couple of minor cosmetic changes along with a few features that makes it even more desirable. For instance, the Achiever gets Hero’s patented i3S (idle-stop-start-system) technology, which is a first in its segment. Additionally, the Achiever 150 features AHO (automatic headlamp on), body coloured mirrors, a muscular tank and blacked out mechanicals that add a touch of sportiness.
Powering the bike is a 149.1cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 13.59PS and 12.8Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. In terms of mechanicals, the bike employs a tubular diamond frame with conventional telescopic forks and an adjustable twin shock absorber setup at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a single 240mm disc brake up front and a 130mm drum unit a the rear. Its 18-inch alloys come wrapped in 80- and 100-section tyres at the front and rear, respectively.
The Hero Achiever is offered in three different colours - black, silver and red - and gets a starting price of Rs 66,800 (ex-showroom). It competes with the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Honda CB Unicorn and the Suzuki Gixxer.

- Waste of money.
Don't take this bike spare part won't available anywhere. I meet an accident and can't find parts even after 2 months and till today.
- Worst bike to have.
If you buy this bike and be ready to pay high maintenance cost. I have replaced the bike clutch plate @ 5K. Average visit cost for services @ 2K. The service team is terrible. They change everything like my brake shoe pad was bad. They advise me to change the full brake system. My Honda Civic is costing me less than this bike.Read More
