2014 Kawasaki Ninja Z1000SX Tourer Spotted

Kawasaki Z1000SX is a sport bike which comes in two variants- Super-Sport and Sport-Tourer. Recently, an Italian online two-wheeler magazine managed to capture some spy pictures of the 2014 model of the Kawasaki Z1000SX Tourer, during a photo shoot on Atlantic Road Molde, Norway. Although it is difficult to detect differences in the current and the upcoming model, there are few changes, which can be seen through the pictures.

The new model has single coloured body paint with the fairing of the same colour instead of the dual tone of the current model. The dual exhaust pipe on the both sides have chrome colour instead of black. We couldn't figure out the changes in performance of the bike through the clicks, but the performance of the new model will be definitely better. Power of the bike is expected to increase from 138bhp to 150bhp.

The new model will come with advanced technologies like- advance Sport- Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC) system with three modes, adjustable ABS and suspension system, new Ohlins Kawasaki electronic steering damper etc. Confirmed specifications of the bike are supposed to be revealed soon by the company officially.

Price of the bike might be increased due to the extra features, current version of the bike is coming with a price tag of $11499, and it has not been launched in India yet. However, the new version might be launched in India also due to the increasing demand of the superbikes in the Indian two- wheeler market.
