The Japanese Major has answered 'The Call of Wild' by revealing the new model of its wildest naked machine Z1000. The company also revealed the faired touring version of the bike Z1000SX. Design of the bike is inspired by the 'Sugomi Philosophy', which was firstly used in the Z800 to make it more wild and aggressive by focusing on every aspect of styling and design engineering.
Engine of the bike has been altered to deliver better performance, and now it will churn out a maximum power of 142bhp @ 10,000rpm and a peak torque of 111Nm @ 7,300rpm. The bike uses Ride-By-Wire throttle technology, by which you can restrict the engine to work at two power modes 70% and 80%.
It also features KTC (Kawasaki Traction Control) system with three riding mode adjustability. Suspension system of the bike is also electronically controlled and the dual front and single rear disk brakes are assisted by adjustable ABS system.
Kawasaki Z1000 boasts a very unique appearance due to its muscular fuel tank, elegant headlight cowl, full LED instrument cluster and dual side twin exhaust pipes, which add tonnes of style to its mass forward design. This is the first time when Kawasaki has used LED headlamps in its bike. The bike uses a combination of six ultra bright LED units, in which inner two are used for low beam and other four units for high beam.
Kawasaki Z1000SX is a sport tourer version of Z1000, which has a bigger sporty cowl, which gives it a proper tourer appeal. And its ergonomic design provides extreme riding comfort. Other technical details of the bike remains same as the Z1000.
