The renowned Biking festival - India Bike Week (IBW) that cherishes thousands of bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts countrywide each year is all set to please them even more this year. Seventy Event Media Group (70 EMG) with lifestyle channel FOX life has recently announced the highlights of the event that is scheduled to take place on 19th and 20th February ‘16 in Vagator, Goa.
The main attraction of this year’s IBW will be renowned English motocross rider - Dougie Lampkin who will be featured in Moto Trials show and will make an exclusive debut at the coming IBW. Besides, Hard Enduro Challenge will also be open for motocross teams with a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 75,000 for the winning team. Another element that is sure to attract the bikers is the “Main Street” concept in which an open runway lined up with bars and tents will act as a showcase path for biking clubs, solo riders and all who are attending the event. The highly revving machines, DJs playing ear shattering music and cameras flashing all over the area will be making this concept even more enjoyable and appealing.
As per reports, the event organisers have collaborated with over 100 biking clubs in the country to manage and contact the riders who are willing to take part in the event. Moreover, marshals have also been employed that will act as leaders to patrol and guide the fellow riders to Goa. We look forward to the event and hope such happenings continue to take place in the nation, better and better with each passing year.
