These bikes failed to capture customer interest which resulted in low sales

Bajaj recently decided to discontinue a few of its motorcycle models due to poor sales. These models include the Pulsar F250, Platina 110 ABS and CT 125X. All three motorcycles failed to capture market interest. As a result, Bajaj has removed these models from its official website and ceased production.

Pulsar F250

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 was launched in 2021 as the successor to the Pulsar 220F. The F250 was already pulled from the market once due to low demand. It made a brief return in mid-2024, receiving subtle updates and additional features to boost sales. However, within just seven months of its re-release, Bajaj has once again decided to discontinue the bike, it has been removed from the brand's website, and showrooms have stopped accepting bookings for the model.

Platina 110 ABS

The Platina 110 ABS was primarily aimed at budget-conscious customers and B2B fleet operators. While the ABS variant was introduced to enhance safety, and was the most affordable bike in India with ABS, the model struggled in terms of customer demand. Bajaj still offers the standard version of the Platina 110, which comes with drum brakes and remains a popular choice in the entry-level commuter segment. With the Platina 110 ABS now discontinued, the Hero Xtreme 125R becomes the most affordable bike in India to offer ABS.

CT 125X

The CT 125X was marketed as a more rugged and durable option for those needing a go-anywhere motorcycle. It was positioned above the CT 110X. It failed to meet Bajaj’s expectations in terms of sales volumes, and was silently discontinued.

BikeDekho Says

All three of these models, while offering good value and utility for specific use cases, could not sustain long-term consumer interest. Bajaj’s decision to discontinue them is part of the company’s efforts to focus on the popular models.
