Suzuki India has launched the 2019 Gixxer SF MotoGP edition at Rs 1,10,605 (ex-showroom Delhi). Compared to other standard colour options, the new colour edition is dearer by just Rs 735.
The last-gen Gixxer SF was offered with the MotoGP-inspired blue colour variant right from launch. However, the 2019 model lacked this option at launch. Now though, the 2019 Gixxer SF has received a proper MotoGP edition instead of just a colour addition. It also features ‘Ecstar’ stickers on the fairing, which wasn’t present in the earlier model. Apart from the new colour scheme and yellow rim tapes, the MotoGP edition remains the same as the standard model. Here’s Suzuki’s official statement:

Suzuki Motorcycle India brings in MotoGP edition of GIXXER SF Series
New Delhi, July 18, 2019: Owing to the rising demand, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), a subsidiary of the two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan today launched the electrifying MotoGP edition of the new GIXXER SF series for motorsports lovers.
The MotoGP edition is a tribute to Suzuki’s racing legacy. Since its first launch in the year 2015, the captivating MotoGP colour has become the identity of GIXXER SF series in India. From Team Suzuki Ecstar decals to the distinctive wheel pin stripes, every bit of this motorcycle hints towards the racing genes’ evolution of GIXXER SF series MotoGP edition from the makers of legendary MotoGP machines.
Talking about the new variant, Mr. Devashish Handa, Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. The new GIXXER SF MotoGP edition series wears the same livery theme along with Suzuki Racing Blue colour taking cues from the 2019 edition of Suzuki MotoGP machine, GSX-RR. The enhanced aerodynamic design with edgy character lines and lower center of gravity adds to the styling as well as functional beauty of the motorcycle. The clip-on handle allows the rider to get into perfect position to ride the motorcycle with utmost comfort and is suitable for short commuting as well as long touring.
The GIXXER SF MotoGP edition is powered with 155cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder fuel injection, air-cooled SOHC engine with SEP technology, generating 14.1ps@8000 and 14.0Nm@6000rpm, promising high fuel efficiency and quality performance. The new motorcycle is lightweight and easy to handle for a sporty ride experience and is equipped with ABS.
Today, Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the GIXXER SF MotoGP edition only for the enthusiasts. The newly launched MotoGP GIXXER SF edition is priced at INR 110,605 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
The Suzuki GIXXER SF 250 MotoGP edition will soon be introduced with 249cc, Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) enabled four-stroke, single-cylinder fuel injection SOHC engine provides amplified functionality. The new engine produces 26.5ps@9000rpm and 22.6Nm@7500rpm. Furthermore, the innovative SOCS technology makes the engine light-weight and fast offering a smooth ride. Additionally, it is equipped with dual channel Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS).
The company will bring in the GIXXER SF 250 MotoGP edition for its patrons in the month of August.
