With more features and better looks, the 2024 Pulsar 150 sounds more wholesome than its predecessor

2024 Bajaj Pulsar 150: 5 Things You Need To Know About

Bajaj recently launched the 2024 Pulsar 150 for Rs 1,13,696 (ex-showroom Delhi) and it got a couple of updates for a very reasonable hike in the price. Here are 5 of the most important things about the bike:

2024 Bajaj Pulsar 150: Design

For 2024, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been given new graphics. There’s now ‘150’ badging on the lower half of the tank and the white pinstripes are in different places. On the whole though, Bajaj hasn’t tampered with the Pulsar 150’s looks and it still retains the iconic design with its muscular front end and sleek tail, resulting in a bike that’s quite handsome but with an old-school touch. The OG Pulsar bike fanboys will definitely love it.

Bajaj Pulsar 150: Engine

Even the engine on the Pulsar 150 is unchanged. The 149.5cc air-cooled engine makes 14PS and 13.35Nm. Over the years, we’ve found this engine a likeable one. While it doesn’t have a lot of top-end power, it is torquey and you can ride around in higher gears at lower speeds without much issues. That said, it’s not exactly exciting. It hasn’t been updated in years and we wish Bajaj had given the Pulsar 150 some mechanical updates, especially given that you have exciting bikes on both ends of the Pulsar 150’s price. The TVS Raider’s prices, for example, begin from Rs 95,219, while the Apache RTR 160 4V’s prices begin from Rs 1,24,870 (both ex-showroom Delhi).

Updated Bajaj Pulsar 150: Suspension, Brakes And Other Details

The 2024 Pulsar 150 is still suspended on a telescopic fork and twin gas-charged shock absorbers. Its 17-inch alloys are shod with an 80-section front and 100-section rear tubeless tyre. The Pulsar 150’s handling has always been likeable and that is something that beginners will quite enjoy. For braking, there's a 280mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.

New Bajaj Pulsar 150: Features

Features are where the Pulsar 150 has seen the most updates for 2024. The bike now gets a fully digital LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity as well as a USB charger. New features are always a welcome addition in this modern day and age, especially given that there are multiple bikes on both sides of the Pulsar 150’s price that are quite feature-loaded.

Pulsar 150 Price

Rs 1,13,696 (ex-showroom Delhi) is what the 2024 Pulsar 150 costs, which is Rs 3,277 more than before. While that’s a very reasonable hike, the Pulsar 150 now has become a tad bit expensive for what it offers. The bike hasn’t been thoroughly updated for quite some time and there are now more modern and sportier bikes on both sides of its price. That said, this very old-school charm of the Pulsar 150 is something that OG Pulsar fanboys will like.
