The new pricing is a result of the revised Fame 2 subsidy and Gujarat’s new EV policy

While ICE two-wheelers have been receiving price hikes quite regularly, electric two-wheelers are flowing against the tide. Now, the Ampere Magnus and Ampere Zeal see a massive reduction in prices.

Earlier, the Magnus e-scooter was priced at Rs 74,990 and the Ampere Zeal at Rs 68,990. Courtesy the Fame 2 subsidy, both scooters got a price cut of Rs 9,000.

Now, with the inclusion of the Gujarat EV policy benefits alongside the Fame 2 subsidy, the prices have been slashed by Rs 27,000! The Ampere Magnus now retails at Rs 47,990 and the Zeal at Rs 41,990 (ex-showroom Gujarat).

Both scooters offer a decent set of features. You get a detachable battery, digital instrument cluster, LED DRLs, and an anti-theft alarm as standard while the Magnus additionally offers a USB charging port and an illuminated underseat compartment.

If you’re planning to get home an electric two-wheeler, head here to check out your options.
