The bike and car price will be hiked again within two months as Indian Government has decided to increase excise duty by 2 per cent in this budget, so now vehicles price will be hiked. Only two months back, bike and car prices were increased; at that time prices of Hero Honda bikes were hiked from Rs. 750 up to Rs. 1000 while price for Baja bikes were hiked from Rs. 1000 up to Rs. 1500.

Hero Honda, the country's largest two wheeler marker has already registered around 20 per cent decrease in third quarter. If this 2 per cent excise duty will be enforced for the vehicles, Hero Honda bikes, Bajaj bikes, TVS bikes, Suzuki bikes, Yamaha bikes and Mahindra bikes will become more expensive.

Right now, Indian two wheeler market is the word's fastest growing market and major International bike makers are entering here. Harley Davidson, KTM, Ducati, Hyosung, Kawasaki, Aprilia etc are launching their super bikes in India. Already price for their bikes is high on account of CBU import.

On the other hand, fuel prices are being increased time and again; it will also make vehicle owning costly. The auto mobile companies are also reported to follow the price hike, if excise duty will be increased.

Some of the upcoming bikes will also be added with more bucks with this update in excise duty. The upcoming bikes includes Honda CBR 250R, Bajaj Pulsar 250, TVS Apache 250, KTM 200cc, Suzuki Gw250, Aprilia RSV4, Ducati Monster and Mahindra Mojo.
