BMW to launch S1000RR and R1200GS Indian roads with its Bikes

After experiencing magnanimous success with its four-wheelers in India , the BMW Motorrad is now ready to try its luck with its two-wheelers in the country. The company has planned to visit the Indian market with its four different segments of bike i.e. Sports, Urban, Enduro and the Touring bikes. The company includes a wide range of motorbikes in its portfolio with G, F, R and the K series. The most famous brand name has planned to come up with engine capacities ranging from 450 cc to 1,300 CC. The company's high performance bike comprises of the BMW HP2 MegaMoto and the BMW HP2 Sport. The enterprise is to initiate its sales of the motor bikes in India with its two official importers, Duetsche Motoren and Navneet Motors. BMW is always known for its new and highly technologist products maintaining a superior quality.
The Enduro category of the enterprise includes BMW G 450 X, F650 GS, F 800 GS and R 1200 GS and that of the BMW's Touring bikes comprises of the BMW F 800 ST, R 1200 RT and 1300 GT. The enterprise's Urban segment includes a range of motorcycle such as BMW F800R, R 1200 R, K 1300 R with its Sports segment comprising of the models like BMW S 1000 RR and BMW K 1300 S. The first two motorcycles to visit the Indian market are BMW R 1200 GS (Enduro segment) and BMW S 1000 RR (Sports segment), as disclosed by the company.

BMW R 1200 GS
The engine equipped to the Enduro bike of BMW provides a displacement capacity of 1170 cc with air cooling technology. The 4-stroke engine is accompanied with two camshafts and four radially aligned valves per cylinder. The cylinder bore attached to the BMW R 1200 GS measures to be 101 mm with a stoke of 73 mm. The engine offers an eloquent power of 81 kW (110 hp) at 7,750 rpm and a beating torque of 120 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The all new and enhanced bike from BMW Motorrad is expected to provide its users a speed of over 200 km\h. The bike is sure to prove fuel efficient with a consumption of 4.3 litre per 100 km at a constant speed of 90km\h and a consumption of 5.5 liter with a speed of 120 km\h. Also the feature of twin spark is incorporated to the alluring bike. The bike is sure to become every body's favourite soon with a reasonable price tag and elegant looks. The type of fuel used with the bike is Unleaded super and premium, octane number 95-98 (RON) (Knock sensor; rated output at 98 RON).The compression ratio of the model accounts to be 12.0 :1.
