CarDekho Accolade results revealed, Activa 125 got maximum votes

Results of the India’s only consumer choice car and bike awards- ‘CarDekho Accolade’ 2014 have been revealed, with 5 two-wheeler awards in different categories. People have chosen their favorite product in the different segments and the machines with the maximum votes have become Scooter of the Year, Bike of the Year (100-125cc), Premium Bike of the Year (125-200cc), entry-Level-Performance Bike of the Year (200-500cc) and Performance Bike of the Year (above 500cc) 2014. So, here are the vehicles selected by you for the titles.

Scooter Of The Year 2014:

Honda Activa has became Scooter of the Year 2014 with 77 percent votes in the respective segment. The scooter has received highest votes among all the nominated two-wheeler and four-wheeler in the different categories as well. Other nominees in the respective category were TVS Scooty Zest, Mahindra Gusto, Suzuki Let’s and Yamaha Alpha. Among these scooters, Yamaha Alpha scored the runner-up position with 9 percent votes.

Bike of The Year 2014 (100-125cc):

Readers have selected the Bajaj Discover 125M as Bike of the Year 2014 in the 100-125cc segment with 38 percent votes. The advance 100cc motorcycle from the leading Indian two-wheeler manufacturer- Hero Splendor iSmart stood at the runner-up position with 27 percent votes.

Premium Bike Of The Year 2014 (125-200cc):

In 125-200cc segment, Yamaha FZ/FZ-S FI Ver.2.0 has been selected as the Premium Bike of the Year 2014 with 43 percent votes. The semi-faired version of the motorcycle- Yamaha Fazer FI Ver.2.0 got the runner-up position with 21 percent votes of the readers.

Entry-Level-Performance Bike Of The Year 2014 (200-500cc):

The Austrian bike maker’s KTM RC 390/RC 200 became the Entry-Level-Performance Bike of the Year 2014 in the 200-500cc segment. The bike got 35 percent votes in the respective segment, while the Hero Karizma/Karizma ZMR grabbed the runner-up position with 24 percent votes.

Performance Bike Of The Year 2014 (above 500cc):

The drag style cruiser- Harley-Davidson Breakout won the title of Performance Bike of the Year 2014 in the above 500cc segment. The bike received 42 percent of the total voting in the respective category against many popular models. With 21 percent voting, runner-up position has been secured by BMW S1000R.
