The Automotive solution developer Continental is known for its advance automobile technology devices and it is ready to introduce its new development. Continental has developed a new two-channel Antilock Brake System (ABS) MK 100 MAB, which is approximately 50% smaller and lighter than the existing two-channel ABS devices in the market and thus it is more affordable also. The company will showcase the technology at 2013 EICMA (Milan Motor Show) from 7th to 11th November.

Continental MK 100 MAB ABS

Continental MK 100 MAB not only works as an ABS, but also performs the role of a rear wheel lift-off protection system (RLP). Depending on individual customer requirements, a sport ABS function adapted for race track operation, an off-road ABS for off-road driving, and a traction control system for compensating for traction loss during acceleration are also possible.

The company said that Due to the enhanced, sturdier features of the system, the MK 100 MAB can be more easily adapted to different motorcycle types. The company will start the series production of this low cost safety system in Europe from 2015.
