The Austrian bike maker is going to increase the prices of its KTM Duke 390. We have confirmed the same from various KTM dealers in different cities. We got to know that the of the bike will be rise by around Rs. 10,000 and the increased rates will be effective from 1st December 2013. The reasons are not known yet, but it most probably because of the increased input cost and the hike in cost of raw materials.
Duke 390 is a naked sport bike and the biggest KTM motorcycle available in India. The bike sports a 373.2cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, single cylinder engine in its aggressively styled naked chassis. Using the 4-valve and fuel injection technologies, the engine churns out a maximum power of 43bhp. A six speed gear-box with claw shift lever perfectly balance the power on the rear wheel.
It comes with WP suspensions, upside down forks at the front, while monoshock at the rear. 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes provide quick, easy and safe control with the standard ABS technology.
The bike is a perfect package, even at the increased price. However, if you are thinking to buy the KTM Duke 390 and don't want to pay extra money, hurry up and grab one before 1st December.
