Hero MotoCorp Achieves Record Sales Of Over 8 Lakh Units In October 2020

The brand registered over 35 percent growth compared to the corresponding month of 2019

Hero MotoCorp has achieved record sales in the month of October 2020. It sold 806,848 units of bikes and scooters in a single month, which is a 35 percent growth compared to the same period last year. It sold 599,248 units in October 2019.
The brand also captured a significant market share in the second quarter (July-September) of 2020 across its lineup. The month of October also witnessed a couple of interesting developments for the manufacturer. To start things off, it inked a deal with American bikemaker Harley-Davidson to develop and sell a range of premium motorcycles under the Harley-Davidson brand name. Read more about it here.
Besides, Hero MotoCorp also added new premium looking variants of the Splendor Plus, Pleasure Plus, Glamour and Maestro Edge 125 to its portfolio. On a slightly different note, the brand has introduced a 24x7 Roadside Assistance (RSA) programme for its customers. The facility is available for all Hero customers 24x7 across India.
