World's largest two-wheeler manufacturer and the leading brand in India, Hero MotoCorp seems to go aggressive for the global as well as the domestic markets. After unveiling 15 updated products in 2013, it uncovered 5 new products including a very unique diesel bike recently. However, this is not all, the company is again ready to amaze all at India's biggest auto show. Hero might unveil a 600cc naked street concept, code-named Hastur, at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo (IAE) 2014.
Looking at the picture, Hero Hastur appears as if it is in one of the initial stages of development. However, still we can see the aggressiveness in the design, which is a much needed factor in a naked street bike. The bike shows the effect of the company's new technology partners on its development including its frame, engine, body panels, etc.
As the performance bikes are becoming an eye-candy in India, taking it as an opportunity, Hero has given it an enthralling appearance that would make it look like a celebrity in the mob. Hero has already taken a nice piece of the pie in the Indian market and also serves very well to its customers, which keeps them an addict of buying their products. Wait till the 2014 IAE commencement, all the unanswered queries will be answered there.
Still, the expected detail about the Hero Hastur is a parallel-twin 600cc mill that churns out 80bhp of maximum power and 65Nm of peak torque and the weight of around 190kg. While sporting a dashing naked design, the machine might display a price tag of around Rs.5 lakh.
Unveil of the bike can also be a signal by the company to extend its foray in the global market.
