Hero MotoCorp Unveiled 15 New Products

World's largest 2 wheeler company, Hero Motocorp today unveiled its 2014 line-up of 15 new produts including Karizma ZMR, Karizma R, Xtreme, Pleasure and Splendor iSmart in an event held in Gurgaon. The compay introuced three new technologies in the new range of products, which are i3S, engine immobilizer and integrated braking system (IBS).
The new range includes-
Splendor iSmart is the all new 100cc bike come with i3S green technology. It is the popular Idle Stop and Start System, which automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on when needed, thus giving more mileage in congested cities. The design of the bike is similar to the company's existing Splendor NXG, with a new Green-Silver paint scheme on it.
The new Pleasure will come equiped with the Integrated Braking System (IBS), which improves the rider’s safety by improving braking efficiency of the scooter. It provides comfort of one brake lever (Rear) for both braking on front and rear wheels. The new scooter comes loaded with new utility features that include mobile charger socket, lockable glove box, boot light in luggage box, combination ignition lock with seat opening and side stand indicator among others. The new Pleasure also comes with fresh contemporary styling to target the women riders.
Next in league is the Electronic Immobiliser which will debut with the new Xtreme. The electronic immobiliser is a security device that prevents the engine from running without the correct key. Another key introduction that will offer utmost safety to the premium segment, Hero commuters is the Side Stand Switch with automatic ignition cut-off. Along with these technical changes, the bike also recieves some cosmetic changes including jazzy new speedometer, headlight with stylish eyebrow lights, new LED tail light with light guides, chunky fuel tank among others. The new Xtreme will also be equipped with a mobile charger socket proving greater utility to the rider.
New Karizma R and Karizma ZMR recieve impressive exteriors reflecting EBR effect on the sporty looks. The changes are twin headlight, new sporty handle bar, new race-inspired belly pan, muscular front fender, new muffler cover, bulb winker, sporty seating, new side and front faring, wider tyres among others. We are expecting the new Karizma ZMR with a new powerful engine, however, the company has used the same 223cc power mill in both of the new bikes.
The HF Deluxe Eco is the new member of the 100cc series of the company with stylised air foils on leg guards and stylish aero mirrors. The main feature of the bike is tyres with low rolling friction. However, new HF Dawn & HF Deluxe introduced with side stand indicator and clear winkers, while the New Splendor Pro & Super Splendor with new graphics, dial design and side stand indicator among others. along with this the new Splendor Pro will come with new carrier and new rear cowl, improved ergonomics on seat and black alloy wheels.
New features such as side-stand indicator; service reminder and stylish all-black saree guard are added to the new Passion Pro. And it will be available with new graphics, new dial design and new body colour among other exterior enhancements. The company added fresh racy graphics and dial design to the new Glamour & Glamour FI.
Launching the new product range, Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Hero MotoCorp, Mr. Pawan Munjal said, “Innovation, Technology, Youth & Speed – these are the key buzzwords at New Hero. It has just been over two years since we commenced our solo journey, and in such a short span of time, we have made significant upgradation of our existing line-up, incorporating next generation technology and features. As the market leader, this is also a reiteration of our capability to develop indigenous technologies, and catapult to an era of technologically superior and aesthetically appealing, youthful two-wheelers."
