The Party Capital of India, Goa, is all set to celebrate the brotherhood of bikers across the globe in an exuberant fest, the India Bike Week. To be held on 19th and 20th of February 2016, it is going to be relatively bigger, better and crazier with the inclusions of new events and attractions. This year, the event is scheduled to take place at Aprora instead of Vagator, Goa.
IBW 2016 serves as a platform for all the biking enthusiasts to celebrate their brotherhood and comes as a perfect blend of parties, adventures and bikes. The event is also going to witness future of biking in India as several motorcycle makers including Triumph, Ducati, Harley-Davidson and Benelli will be showcasing their latest products.
Started in the year 2013, every year it has seen a massive growth in terms of participation and has emerged as a prominent carnival for bikers in India. Important attractions of the event include performances by international singers, competitions, concerts and short films. Along with this, there will also be a Motor Trial Show featuring 12 times FIM Trial World Championship winner, Dougie Lampkin and our local hero CS Santosh will also address the crowd and will share his riding experience during the safety sessions.
For the first time in the history of IBW, there will be a feature film screening, which will be judged by a jury panel of celebrated film directors and writers. For amateur motocross teams, competition such as the Dirty Enduro challenge will be a perfect opportunity to try their hands on an obstacle course and can win a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
