India to get both KTM RC 200 and 390 says Official Website

After the huge success of its entry level naked machines Duke 200 and 390, the Austrian auto major KTM announced to launch its newly developed entry level racing machine RC 390 in India. The company has developed 3 new motorcycles RC 125, RC 200 and RC 390, which were showcased at the 2013 EICMA.

Now, the company has updated its Indian websites, which says coming soon in India for both the RC 390 and RC 200 motorcycles. That means India will get both the faired version of the company's naked bikes in India. Styling of the bikes is inspired by the full size track machine RC8 R. While the power mills are shared with their respective Dukes.

The full faired bikes receive full body fairing and a muscular fuel tank on the space-tubular frame. Other new features in the bike are twin projector headlamps and clip-on handle-bars. Both the bikes will come equipped with front and rear disc brakes, assisted by ABS technology.

RC 390 will sport a 373.2cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, single cylinder, 4-valve engine, which churns out a maximum power of 43bhp. And a 199.5cc engine of similar configuration will power the RC 200 with 25bhp. Both the bikes use fuel injection technology for better performance while maintaining the fuel economy. The bikes will be showcased at the 2014 India Bike Week in January and expected to launch soon after it.
