Kawasaki unveils Ninja 250 RR Mono in Indonesia; India on cards

The Japanese auto major has unveiled a new single cylinder model of its Ninja 250 christened as Ninja RR Mono in Indonesia. The new bike also gets lot of cosmetic changes, which make it a whole new model compared to the existing one.

Kawasaki Ninja RR Mono has been powered by an all new 249cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder mill with 4-valve and DOHC configuration. Using electronic fuel injection systen, it is capable to churn out a maximum power of 28 PS at 9700rpm and a peak torque of 22.6Nm at 8200rpm. The engine comes mated with a 6-speed, claw shifted geat box for maximum control on the power delivery at the rear wheel. The bike is capable to achieve a top speed of 153kmph and to control it at high speeds, both the front and rear petal disc brakes comes with optional ABS system.

The new Kawasaki Ninja 250 recieves a new aerodynamic full fairing with single headlamp, wind screen and air scoops. The sport bike gets all the features like a track machine including split seat, clip-on handlebars and a musculine fuel tank to provise a track riding experience with lean forward seating position. It also gets a fully digital console with a big LCD display, which is easy and frequent to read.

Kawasaki Ninja RR Mono is expected to be launched in India as well with the other eoropean markets. The company might price the bike in comparison to the Honda CBR250R for the Indian Market, as it will be the strongest rival of the bike in the country.
