From an ADV to a supersport, here’s all that you can opt for instead of the V-twin cruiser
The Keeway K-Light 250 has entered the Indian market with a hefty price tag of Rs 2,89,000. Although it is an interesting product and something that stands apart in the quarter-litre segment, it still isn’t as powerful as its alternatives, or even some lower-displacement cruisers. So here is all that you can get at the asking price of the K-Light 250V.
Keeway Vieste 300
If you were looking for something more easygoing, then what’s better than a powerful maxi scooter, and one that’s the K-Light 250V’s stablemate? The Keeway Vieste 300 is the most powerful sub-300cc maxi-scooter in India, though it costs more than the K-Light 250V at Rs 2,99,000 (ex-showroom India). It is powered by a 278.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine (unlike the cruiser’s air-cooled one) producing 18.9PS and 22Nm.
KTM 390 Duke
The sharpest and most aggressive alternative to the V-twin cruiser is the KTM 390 Duke which is priced at Rs 2,94,082 (ex-showroom Delhi). At just Rs 5,000 more, the 390 Duke offers a larger capacity engine with much better performance, and also packs a whole lot of tech. Powering the Austrian naked is a 373.27cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor capable of 43.5 PS and 37Nm.

BMW G 310 GS
For Rs 16,000 more, you can opt for the BMW G 310 GS, an adventure motorcycle that is perfect for getaways and off-road riding. Priced at Rs 3,05,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the G 310 GS is powered by a 313cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 34PS and 28Nm. It is one of the easiest adventure bikes in the entry-level space, and a good starter motorcycle to fuel your adventure dreams.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
If you are in the market for a twin-cylinder bike, then you can check out the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The largest capacity alternative, which is also the most powerful on this list, priced at Rs 2,88,814 (ex-showroom Delhi) which is almost the same price as the K-Light 250V.
