Customers can customize the bike with a colour of their own choice
Keeway launched the SR250 in the Indian market at the Auto Expo in January 2023, and the deliveries of the bikes will begin tomorrow, June 17.
The brand is ramping up the hype by executing deliveries in an interesting manner. It’ll be conducting a lucky draw competition for the first 500 deliveries and will refund 100 percent of the ex-showroom price to five lucky customers. But the customers will still have to pay the net amount after subtracting it from the on-road price.
The other interesting part is that though the bike will be available in three standard colours: Glossy Red, Glossy White and Glossy Black, through the ‘My SR My Way’ application, buyers can customise their motorcycles with any colour of their choice. That said, customisation options will only be available on an order basis.
This Keeway SR 250 is powered by a two-valve 223cc air-cooled mill churning out a modest 16.2PS and 14.7Nm. It gets a telescopic fork and twin shocks, with a 300mm disc at the front and a 210mm disc at the rear, and dual-channel ABS.
With prices set at Rs 1,49,001 (ex-showroom) the Keeway SR 250 will directly rival the TVS Ronin and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
