Kingfisher Blue MILE – Himalayan Expedition 2011 concluded in New Delhi on July 15, a first in a series of adventure initiatives under the aegis of Kingfisher Blue MILE, a platform for adventure enthusiasts. 11 participants from different walks of life, along with Arunesh Moudgil, the winner of the Kingfisher Blue online contest, returned after biking through the dangerous terrains of the Himalayas.

The culmination of the Kingfisher Blue Mile – Himalayan Expedition took place at the Zook, New Delhi where the participants enjoyed with beer guzzling games. The adventure enthusiasts were seen unwinding over fun games like the ice-breakers and the popular beer guzzlers. Most popular fun game was the Blue Twist, where couples competed against each other - while one partner swiveled the Kingfisher Blue Hoopla till it touched the ground, the other partner gulped the sizzling golden Kingfisher Blue.

The participants chilled out with the refreshingly smooth and zestful Kingfisher Blue and shared their experiences during their 11 day ride from Leh to New Delhi. There was an air of excitement as they talked about their encounters during the entire expedition and reminisced happy moments related to white water rafting, Double Hump camel safari, the ride through Khardung La Pass and Rohtang Pass and more. The bikes seen in the Expedition include Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 and other Royal Enfield bikes in India.

With the first edition of Kingfisher Blue MILE coming to a successful end, Mr. Samar Singh Shekhawat, Senior VP, UBL said, “We are extremely happy with the way things have turned out. Our endeavour was to bring alive the brand attributes of Kingfisher Blue through this platform of Kingfisher Blue MILE."
