KTM has pulled the wraps off the new Adventure 1050, the latest addition in its Adventure series at the EICMA 2014 show in Milan. As the name suggests it has a 1050cc mill and churns out 95 bhp. Like its siblings in the adventure range the 1050 comes with ABS, ride-by-wire throttle and traction control, and retains the punch seen on its brethren owing to elaborate adaptations. It has WP suspensions and Brembo brakes, and with a weight of 212 kgs it offers mind numbing power to weight ratio.
The Adventure 1050 is the baby of the Advenuture series and is ideal for beginners who want to explore riding on an enduro bike. KTM is offering a range of accessories for the 1050 like heated seats and grips, alarm system etc as part of the PowerParts program to enable riders to use their Adventure 1050s for any riding type, be it short weekend trips, touring or enduro riding.
Will India get the Adventure 1050? The possibility of this is certainly high, as there was a mention of this baby enduro during the KTM RC launch.
