Ladakh Police Now Armed With Hero Electric Scooters For Green Patrolling
Hero Electric provides the police force with Photon e-scooters
Hero Electric has presented the Ladakh Police Department with its Photon electric scooters. This will enable the police department to now patrol the popular tourist destination in an environmentally sustainable manner.

The Hero Electric Photon is powered by a 1.2kW motor that has a peak power of 1.8kW, propelling it to a top speed of 45kmph. It is equipped with a 26Ah battery pack, giving the e-scooter a range of 90km on a single charge, while the charging time is claimed to be five hours. It is priced at Rs 80,790, ex-showroom Delhi including FAME II subsidies.
Hero MotoCorp recently presented 150 units of the Hero Glamour bikes to the Uttarakhand Police Department, which were modified to carry out patrolling duties. More about this development here.
