MV Agusta Range: Let’s Welcome the Premium Bikes

The Italian manufacturer MV Agusta stepped into the Indian market through a low profile event held in Pune last month. The company launched Brutale 1090 priced at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) with further launches of F3 800 and the F4 which is priced at Rs 25.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).

Agusta F4 is the flagship model of the company that features diamond-shaped headlamps, aerodynamic lines and quad under seat exhaust system. The bike carries a 998cc inline four engine which produces a power of 192bhp and torque measured at 111Nm. Whereas, Agusta F3 800 is a supersport motorcycle right ahead of the litre-class range. The bike holds a 798cc inline three-cylinder engine, producing the power output of 146 bhp and 88 Nm of torque.

MV Agusta would be assembling the parts in the country to make it more convenient with pricing and the entire range will be imported through CBU (completely built unit) route. The company has started taking bookings for these premium bikes which will be delivered in two or three weeks of time. Currently, MV Agusta is looking for dealerships in the country and it is expected that it will be functional by January 2016.
