Harley Davidson, the American cruiser motorcycle giant, has recently launched a cute motorcycle outsider India that is based on Harley Davidson Softail. The name of the new launch is Harley Davidson Blackline that comes loaded with a Twin Cam 96B V-Twin powerful engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), it generates max power of 89 ft. lbs. and peak torque of 3250 rpm. The bike is priced at $16,999.
The Harley Davidson Blackline is designed by Wisconsin native Casey Ketterhagen, a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. The design of the bike is based on Dark Custom motorcycles that Harley launched in 2007. It has rider friendly body design that promises to provide good comfort for the rider because it has minimal graphics, a subdued paint scheme, and minimal non-essential parts and covers.
Harley Davidson is the world's most popular and largest cruiser heavy weight bike manufacturer, it has big series of bikes in its stable. The company is spreading its wings across world and in the year of 2010 it stepped in Indian market with the announcement of 12 bike models. Harley Davidson Iron and Harley Davidson SuperLow recently has been launched in India. Both the bike are having low price in its portfolio here in India.
Harley Davidson Blackline is the new creation by the company that is having 6-Speed Cruise Drive Transmission, New Black Denim powedercoat frame and swingarm, Aluminum wheels with black anodized rims and size are 21 x 2.15 inches and 16 x 3 inches for front and rear wheel respectively. Fuel tank is very attractive and fuel store capacity is five gallon, LCD dashboard, stylish rear fender, 24 inches laden rider seat, new and stylish headlamp, No more graphics on body and wide and fatter tyres that attracts everybody.
It is expected that the Harley Davidson Blackline might be launched in India in near future. Harley Davidson has already announced to set-up a facility in India to spread its wings in India and neighbouring countries to provide its bike with competitor price.
