Ola Postpones Sales Of The S1 And S1 Pro Electric Scooters

• Sales of the S1 and S1 Pro were supposed to commence on September 8th, 2021.
• Customers will now have to wait till September 15th, 2021, to buy the scooters.
• The process will be fully digital and will also feature finance options without any paperwork.

Ola Electric hasn’t put a foot wrong in 2021 so far. Now, however, the EV maker has faced a slight hiccup which has led to a delay in its sales plans for the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.

Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, made a public announcement apologizing to the public and explaining that there were many technical issues with the website which has led to this delay. The S1 and S1 Pro will now go on sale on September 15th, 2021, from 8 AM onwards.

The process will remain as promised, though. It will be entirely digital with easy finance options and will eliminate any sort of paperwork. Moreover, Ola will sell the scooters on a first-come-first-serve basis and people who buy the scooter first will get priority during delivery.
