Bobbers, supersports, ADVs & more- you’re spoilt for choice!
QJ Motor recently launched four bikes in India. Out of these, the SRC 250 is the most affordable one, with its prices starting from Rs 1.99 lakh and going up to Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom India). If you feel the SRC 250 doesn’t quite cut it at this price point, we’ve curated a list of five bikes that you can go for instead, for the same kind of money.
Royal Enfield Classic 350
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the most popular retro bike in India and is Royal Enfield’s best-selling bike as well. Its prices start from Rs 1,90,092 and go up to Rs 2,21,297 (ex-showroom Delhi). So if you’re looking for an easy-going bike that can thump away to glory on the highway or even commute with ease, the Classic 350 is the one for you. We even rode it and here’s what we liked and disliked about it.
Jawa 42 Bobber
The charm of a retro motorcycle, backed by modern underpinnings bolted onto a sexy bobber look? If that sounds interesting to you, the Jawa 42 Bobber, at Rs 2,09,187 (ex-showroom Delhi) would definitely appeal to you. Check out what we thought about it here.
Yamaha R15M
The retro roadster might be a bit…too retro for some. If you’re one who likes your bike to look modern and sharp, entry-level supersports can catch your fancy. And when we talk about entry-level supersports, the Yamaha R15M makes a compelling case for itself. In fact, you’re spoilt for choice here, as you can choose from the R15M metallic grey (Rs 1,90,400), or the gorgeous looking WGP 60th Anniversary Edition (Rs 1,91,800) or even the top-of-the-line Monster Energy MotoGP Edition (Rs 1,92,400, all prices ex-showroom Delhi). The R15 is loaded with tech, gets committed ergonomics and is ideal for those who want to learn the nuances of sport riding.
KTM 200 Duke
If a high-performance, aggressive yet accessible streetfighter is your thing, it’s hard to overlook the KTM 200 Duke. At Rs 1,91,693 (ex-showroom Delhi), by paying a tiny bit more than the SRC 250’s base variant, you can get your hands on a bike that’s fun to ride on the twisties, highways and also for daily commutes.
Royal Enfield Himalayan
Nothing would seal this list better than an ADV- the kind of bikes that are perfect for our broken roads. With its prices starting from Rs 2,14,519 and going upto Rs 2,22,159 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Royal Enfield Himalayan is, hence, something you can consider if you want a balanced bike that can do off-road riding and highway touring.
