The Exotic Bimota Impetus now gets a Supercharger Kit

Italian exotic motorcycle maker, Bimota is known for its state-of-the-art machines. Some time back, the company unveiled the Impetus having the Ducati Testastretta technology. But, this wasn’t enough, so the company developed their own Supercharger kit for the motorcycle to add more aggression to it. 

 Bimota Impetus happens to be the second production motorcycle to have a supercharged engine after Kawasaki’s mighty machine- the Ninja H2. The in-house developed kit coupled to the Ducati’s engine is for track only and pumps up the output level by 15 to 20 per cent. As a result, the maximum power output of the motorcycle reaches to 190PS from 160PS and now it delivers 160Nm against the 136Nm of torque. The supercharger kit is available for other Bimota motorcycles including the DB8, the DB9 and the DB11. 

 Other than the improved power, the Italian bike maker has also added ride-by-wire, multi-level traction control and ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) in the Impetus to make it latest in terms of technology. Apart from that, you can also have the ‘Bimota Experience Kit’ that features a set of lighter carbon fibre tubes and a carbon fibre swingarm instead of the standard alloy trellis frame. 

The Bimota, it is already pretty famous for its exotic machines and the addition of supercharger will surely do wonders for the company.
