This Week’s Top Bike News: KTM 1390 Super Duke R, 1290 Super Adventure, 890 Duke R and 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR Launch and more

The excitement in the Indian bike industry doesn’t seem to go down even post-EICMA 2024. The second week of November witnessed many thrilling launches, important teasers and insights into the upcoming vehicles. If you missed any of the action, here’s a quick news recap for you:

KTM Big Bike Launches

Austrian manufacturer KTM has launched its big bikes range in India including the KTM 1390 Super Duke R, the 1290 Super Adventure S, the 890 Duke and the 890 Adventure R. The manufacturer has also launched its motocross and enduro bikes in the country including the KTM 250 SX-F, 350 EXC-F and 450 SX-F. The brand has also brought in KTM 50 SX, 65 SX and 85 SX, which are smaller dirt bikes for the children. You can check out the prices here.

2025 Kawasaki ZX-4RR Launch

The 2025 Kawasaki ZX-4RR was also launched this week with a new triple-tone colour option. The bike gets a BS6.2 compliant, 399cc,liquid-cooled, inline-four cylinder engine that makes 77PS and 39Nm, RAM air intake increases the output to 80PS. The ZX-4RR is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter. Moreover, the standard Ninja ZX-4R has also received a price hike.

Zelio X-Men Launch

Zelio Ebikes, a Haryana-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched its Zelio X-Men 2.0 electric scooter in India. The updated scooter comes with refreshed looks, better features and even more range than before. The Zelio X-Men 2.0 electric scooter is available in 4 variants based on its battery pack capacity.

Honda Activa Electric Teased Again

Honda India has dropped a new teaser for the upcoming Activa Electric which will be officially unveiled on November 27, 2024. The new teaser gives us a glimpse of the electric scooter’s electric motor, headlight, front apron and seat. Here are the expected price, launch date and more info.

Ola S1 Gen 3 Launch Soon

Ola Electric’s latest shareholder meeting reveals that the manufacturer is planning to launch the Gen 3 models of its S1 electric scooter range in January 2025. In this new platform, the motor, battery, and electronics will be integrated into a single box unit. Ola currently sells the S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X electric scooters, but the manufacturer also plans to develop a new sporty commuter and a touring scooter on the same platform in future.
