The modified ADV is capable of belting out a healthy 34PS

Royal Enfield kickstarted the adventure motorcycling culture in India with the Himalayan in 2017. And while the stock ADV is quite capable already, modders are always trying to make it reach new standards. One such example is this modded Himalayan with an upgraded 462cc engine modified by a YouTuber called Motos Cades & Coffee.

To make the engine more powerful than before, the modder has used a Hitchcocks 462cc Big Bore Kit,  performance camshaft, and a straight flow air intake. It also gets a Powertronics tunable ECU system and new front and rear sprockets.

With a bigger cubic capacity, these bits also increase the power output of the ADV to a healthy 34PS, quite a significant increase from the stock 24.8PS. It features a new heavy-duty clutch setup, and the modder also claims that with the updates, the ADV can reach the 130kmph mark sooner and sustain such speeds easier as opposed to the stock bike. For a better top-end grunt, the bike has also received a new custom PowerRage slip-on exhaust. Oh, and there's a new engine guard too.

The stock Himalayan is powered by a 411cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with an oil cooler, producing 24.8PS and 32Nm. That said, a new, bigger, more premium and powerful Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is set to launch towards the end of this year.
