However, electric two-wheelers are now ever so popular and here are the top five best-selling electric two-wheeler manufacturers in the country based on July 2022 figures:

While the overall two-wheeler market reported a drop of 10% in year-on-year (YoY) sales, the gains reported by the top five EV manufacturers are more than double compared to last year. This clearly signifies the wildfire popularity the electric segment is currently experiencing, while the scope of this number growing even further is immense.
This electric revolution is spearheaded at the front by Hero Electric, closely followed by Okinawa and Ampere. These three marques offer budget-friendly options, which appeal to the masses, while other factors driving people to accept these brands could be inflation and the high retail price of petrol. Ola Electric finds itself at the fourth spot, while the only electric bikemaker in the list, Revolt Motors, clinches the fifth spot.
