TVS Apache RTR 200 4V made public appearance at Auto Expo 2016

After the successful launch in January, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has made its public appearance during the ongoing Auto Expo, Greater Noida. Being one of the most awaited launch of the year, the new flagship of Apache marked TVS's entry in a new segment even the company has priced it competitively at Rs. 88,990 onwards (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is able to grab all the attention of visitors at the TVS stall.
Inspired by the Draken concept, the bike boasts of completely new design language while keeping its original identity. The Apache RTR 200 4V is built around a double cradle frame and gets its power by a newly developed 197.5cc, single-cylinder, air and oil cooled, SOHC, 4-valve engine that is coupled to a 5-speed transmission. The smooth powerplant is tuned to produce 20.2bhp (Carbureted version) of power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 18.1 Nm at 7,500rpm. As per the company claims, the bike can attain a top speed of 130kmph and can reach 0 to 60kmph in 3.9 seconds.
The 200cc Apache is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and a KYB monoshock at the rear which are being used for the first time in any TVS motorcycle. For the braking purposes, the bike has been given 270mm disc up front and 240mm disc at the rear while dual channel ABS will be an option.
